Cointreau can be substituted with Triple Sec, Curacao or another Orange Liqueur if not available.

As with many traditional cocktails, there are many different recipes for a Pina Colada. Here are a few more:

Version #1: 1oz light Rum, 1oz Coconut Cream, 1oz crushed Pineapple, 0.25 cup crushed Ice: blend together & garnish with 1 slice Orange & 1 Maraschino Cherry
Version #2: 1 part light Rum, 1 part Coconut Cream, 2 parts Pineapple Juice, blend & garnish with Cherry.

I can almost hear Barry Manilow playing....

Serve this drink with as many silly decorations as you can possibly get your hands on, and if you happen to have a pineapple or coconut shell to serve it in, all the better!
